Interactive Mobile Device App API

The connect call never succeeds. The document doesn't state what port to use and if there are any other calls to be made for device registration etc. The developer's forum has quite a few threads related to the same issue and none of them have been answered by a Samsung employee.
Has anyone been successful in using these APIs?
I wonder why they have published such half-baked APIs that serve no puprose other than to waste developers time.
The least they can do is clarify - whether or not the hacks that people have suggested elsewhere are to be used as official APIs.

    i have the same problem any ideas or solution for it ?!!!! why the documentation is so lacked about this topic
